ITALIA !!!!

Rome, Venice and Tuscany are just some of the enchanting and wonderful places I had the opportunity to visit so lets start with Venice.

Well what do I say the canals and pastel houses slowly sinking into the ocean what I managed to experience was the sense of community in this maze on water everyone knows everyone and new comers and tourists are accepted into their close knit lives with a simple password ,a smile. I witnessed this at one restaurant in particular where by the end of the night we were singing Italian songs and laughing with them even though we had only known each other for a few hours.

In saying that the same can be said for Tuscany we stayed at the lovely villa La Zuti we were the only guests and spent many a night in the pool watching the sunset over the Tuscan hills the vineyards rolling away before heading off to the all Italian Nuevo Ranch where English was not spoken and Tourists were never seen. Needless to say the food was to die for classic meals that had been passed down through the generations.

Lastly Rome the city where it is not uncommon to be sitting in a modern cafe with ancient ruins across the road and the pope asleep down the street, yes it seems strange but in this almost alternate universe I noticed the romance appeal to this city the young amongst the old everyone enjoying what this city has to offer.

The musee d'orsay is a place where dreams and creative vision can come true. A place where it's okay to stare at a picture for hours on end still not understanding the full potential of the painting and constantly noticing new and previously unnoticed features. Taken outside the main building I perched myself upon a large sculpture not noticing the " éloigner  " or keep off sign oops !

The second photo was taking upon the famous lock bridge where hundreds of heart broken people come to salute their feelings and throw away the key literary of course I was not but still it is a significant thing to do so after clamping my lock on I threw the key into the Seine.
